How to Start and Stay in a Small Business

Synopsis:

The purpose of this and all workshops is to provide relevant and affordable training for the small business operator. Raleigh SCORE enlists local community leaders to volunteer their time and contribute to a specific part of the presentation as well as offering expertise in counselor preparation. All workshops are targeted for an audience of small business operators and their concerns. The workshop is modular in design, so the client gets information in specific content that can be immediately applied to their business concern.
A lunch is generally provided for attendees.
About the Workshop:
This workshop is a "must attend" event for anyone who's made the life-altering decision to start a small business. It provides an over-view of what you really need to know to start a successful business. Topics such as developing a business plan, insurance requirements, legal considerations, financing and marketing basics are addressed. A panel of experts will answer your specific questions at the end of the session. Coffee breaks, lunch and program materials are included in this workshop.
